Sometimes the best conversations happen while walking side by side in nature.
Wild Walking Warriors is a relaxed Sunday morning walking group facilitated by Clinical Psychologist Athenea Faye, offering a supportive space to move, breathe, and connect outdoors. Some people chat as they walk, others prefer quiet, both are welcome.
Venue: Modderfontein, Johannesburg
Day & Time: Sundays at 08:00
Distance: 5 km or 10 km
Cost: No fee for the group. Park entrance fee R50 payable at the park.
Weather: Weather permitting, updates are shared in the WhatsApp group.

Important Notes
- Wild Walking Warriors is a community wellbeing walk facilitated by a clinical psychologist. It is not a therapy session and participation does not establish a psychologist–patient relationship.
- Participants join voluntarily and are responsible for their own physical wellbeing during the walk.
- Participation in the walk is entirely voluntary. Spectrum Centre and the walk facilitator shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, loss, theft, or damage to persons or property that may occur during the walk.
- Participants attend and take part in the walk at their own discretion and risk.
- For the safety and comfort of all participants, Spectrum Centre and Athenea Faye reserves the right to decline or remove participants where necessary.
